Lee County, FL offers many diverse attractions for a wide range of interests. The city of Cape Coral is in Lee County and is located up the river from the famous Sanibel Island, Pine Island and Captiva Island. You can go on a guided fishing kayak charter and catch many of the different kinds of fish Florida has to offer. There are also different kinds of charters, even one that often sees dolphins.

Another one of the area's most popular attractions is the Coral Oaks Golf Course. The course is owned by the city, and anyone can play there. They offer a challenging, yet playable course any golf enthusiast would be sure to enjoy.

Toddlers can enjoy their own play area, while the older kids and adults can scream as they go down the group water ride, Cape Fear. When it's time to dry off, the water park also offers an area to play sand volleyball.

If the wilderness is something you enjoy, Babcock Wilderness Adventures is something you and your family are sure to enjoy. The park is on a huge 90,000 acre ranch. There are panthers, alligators, Florida cracker cattle and birds. You may also see turkey or a white tail deer during your visit.

For a night of entertainment, the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall and the Germain Arena offers ongoing productions including Broadway shows, theater, large scale concerts and sporting events.  Sports fans may enjoy a view of the Red Sox spring training at JetBlue Park in Ft. Myers, the Florida Everblades hockey game or catch a minor league baseball game of the Ft. Myers Miracle.

Tanger Outlet Center is also a great place to find shops, and it’s location is near the beach, making it a great place to spend the day.

Dining Dining options in Lee County are as vast as the canals and waterways in the county. You can dine at fine chain establishments like P.F. Chang’s, or enjoy a T.G.I. Friday’s happy hour. There are many cuisines of various cultures available in Lee County so you won’t want for any craving.
